We are proud to return with the Writers’ Room, a collective space for emerging and experienced writers to get together and discuss writers’ issues and the skills of developing a narrative onto the page. Writers from various backgrounds and practices are welcome to attend as “The elusive art of plotting for screen: approaches to structures and scenes” will be unpacked during the session with Guest Artist, Victoria Naholo.
Victoria Naholo is a creative writer who freelances in the Advertising, Film and Theatre industries. In addition to this, she also teaches script writing at the College of the Arts on a part time basis. Her love for story goes as far back as she can remember. Although she studied performing Arts, she has always been more enamored with the anatomy of story, rather than it’s performance. She has worked on numerous award nominated and award winning local productions. Her proudest achievement to date, in this space, has been getting to work as the screenwriter for the Namibian team, on Breaking Boarders; a SADC female filmmakers collaborative project.
Safety measures will be adhered to.
