A groundbreaking and classic choreopoem that weaves interconnected stories of love, empowerment, struggle, healing and sisterhood. The work tells the stories of seven women of colour, who experience oppression in society daily. Through poetry, spoken word, song and movement, each woman delivers her survival story with wrenching honesty and humor, of having to exist in a world shaped by sexism and racism.
